Orders placed through Stringjoy.com are eligible for FREE economy domestic shipping on orders over $25 USD (available to all US address including Alaska & Hawaii, US Territories & Military Addresses). Be sure to select the “Free Economy Shipping” option at checkout if your order qualifies. Worldwide shipping is available starting at $6.95 (price varies by country). All Stringjoy products are shipped directly from our factory in Nashville, TN, USA. 

Typically, it takes up to 2 business days to process your order (excluding Made to Order products, see below), regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout. In rare cases we experience extremely high demand on certain products and it may take longer for your order to ship. If you ever have an order hanging around longer than you’d like, just shoot us an email to ask for an update and we’ll be glad to take a look and update you on where we’re sitting.

Bass Strings at Stringjoy are currently Made to Order—please allow 1 – 2 weeks for your strings to be wound, inspected, coiled and packaged. If we can make them faster, we will, but this is a good expectation to go in with. It’s our goal to build up enough stock to ship bass strings just as fast as electric and acoustic strings, but currently the demand on the bass side keeps growing faster than we can train new Master Winders (as bass strings are the most complex strings we manufacture, only the top tier of winders at Stringjoy are certified to wind them).

We ship Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. We cannot guarantee Saturday delivery, even if your shipping is upgraded to express. Please allow up to 2 (or in rare cases, more) business days for orders to process (for example, if you order on Monday, your order should ship out on Tuesday or Wednesday). You will receive a confirmation e-mail with the tracking link once your order ships. Please allow up to 48 hours to receive this shipping confirmation e-mail. Express shipping options and any other third-party fees are non-refundable. We cannot be held accountable for delays caused by the carrier. 

Do note that if inaccurate or incomplete addresses are provided your order may be delayed. Please thoroughly review their shipping information prior to checking out to avoid any such delays.

Territories of the United States: For orders shipped to a territory of the United States, as well as for Hawaii and Alaska, please allow anywhere between 5-15 business days for your order to reach your destination. 

P.O. Boxes: We do ship to P.O. Boxes using USPS. We cannot ship Express 2-Day orders to P.O. boxes.

Military Addresses: We do ship to military addresses. We ship these orders via UPS/USPS to a military base who is then responsible for delivering the package to your final destination. For military orders, delivery times can range from 15-20 business days. 

TRACKING YOUR ORDER

You will receive a confirmation e-mail once your order has been processed to the e-mail address provided at the time of checkout, which can take up to 48 hours. You will receive a second e-mail once your order has shipped, which will include your tracking number, which can be entered into Google to find tracking information. If there is a problem with your tracking number or package delivery, please contact the courier directly prior to contacting us. Please allow 1 – 4 days for the tracking information to show. In some rare case, the tracking information may not update but you will still receive your order. Please contact us after the estimated delivery time.

INTERNATIONAL DUTIES, TAXES & FEES

International customers (outside of the United States) are responsible to pay any applicable inbound duties, taxes, and any other fees which your local Customs authority deems appropriate. These fees are paid to your local carrier or government and thus cannot be refunded under any circumstances.

We ship international packages DDU (duties and taxes unpaid), meaning that these fees are not included in the price of the goods you purchase from our website. All applicable fees must be paid by the final recipient in order to receive the package. For information on these charges, please contact your country’s customs office or tax agent for respective charges and rates on a package coming outside of your country.

ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIME

Any estimated delivery window provided by Stringjoy or by the carrier is merely an estimate. No guarantee is made as to the delivery timeframe, and no refunds can be provided on the basis of delivery timeframes.

Domestic Orders: Please allow up to 10 business days before contacting us about the potential your package could be lost.

International Orders: Please allow up to 30 business days before contacting us about the potential your package could be lost.

INCORRECT ADDRESSES

It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that she or he enters the shipping address correctly. If incorrect information is entered, please contact [email protected] as soon as possible. We will do our best to make the change, however we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.

If it’s too late for our team to cancel your order, we can wait to see if the package gets returned back to us. If it does get returned back to our factory, we can then ship it to the correct address.

If you upgraded your shipping beyond our Free Shipping options and your order was returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will not be reimbursed for the upgraded shipping fees.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

By placing an order from Stringjoy, you are responsible for the cost to return any items to us should you choose to do so. Please see our Return & Exchange Policy for details.

MARKED DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED

Nearly all of our shipments are shipped with tracking with delivery confirmation. If the tracking information confirms that your order has been delivered to your order address but you have not received your order, please contact the respective carrier at the numbers above in order to investigate this issue. We cannot be held accountable for packages where tracking information states the package has been delivered to your order address. 

If you’ve experienced lost or stolen packages where you reside in the past, we encourage you to instead have your package delivered to a work address to ensure that you receive it.

USA STATE SALES TAXES

These collected taxes are mandated by local and state governments and Stringjoy directly pays the amount we collect to the respective states and municipalities. This list is subject to change without warning. Currently, Stringjoy is required to charge and remit sales tax for orders shipped to most US states.

Unfortunately we cannot ship to the following countries (excluding AFO / DPO / FPO Military Mail): Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Burundi, Cote d’ivoire (Ivory Coast), Croatia, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Liberia, Libya, Moldova, Montenegro, Myanmar (Burma), Nigeria, North Korea, Paraguay, Republic of the Congo, Russia, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Togo, Yemen and Zimbabwe.
